Who’s to Say What’s Possible

Written by my tiny tank on . Posted in Chronicles

If you grew up hearing “you can’t.” Then you probably won’t try. Why would you? Most people will never reach their potential. They won’t even come close. Why? Because they didn’t even try. Getting out there and failing, falling down, making a mess, getting lost, getting fired, losing the game, not quite finishing. These are all better than not trying.

Who’s to say what’s possible. Who’s to say you can’t:

Reach your goal

Walk a mile

Get off your diabetes medicine… Forever

Go camping

Play with your kids in the back yard

Take a Zumba class

Run a 5K

Go Horseback riding

Cross your legs

Go back to school

Ride a rollacoaster

Audition for a play

Fall in love

Kayak

Go to the city

Hike a mountain

Swimming with your grandchildren

Fit in the airplane seat

Volunteer

Feel normal sized

Have a family

Find others who understand your experience

Write a book

Ride a bicycle

Travel the world

Be happy

Don’t miss Jack Johnson’s video of the song Upside Down. It’s what made me think today… What’s possible

Hi Audra. It’s real important to accept that we aren’t perfect. Once I did that I felt relieved and I was kinder with myself. Take one day at a time and learn from your tough days. The tough days hold the secrets to what we need to change. thanks for your comment!
