The Scale is Moving

Written by my tiny tank on . Posted in Chronicles

Just a quick post today.  I just had to post and tell you and the world that the scale is moving!  I am at a new low for me (recent low).  The scale has started moving.  It has not been a miracle.  I did change something.  I started eating more!  More calories and more fat.  My intake is made up of…

fat, unprocessed carbohydrates and protein. The Scale is Moving The Scale is Moving

My husband had been cleaning up his diet and was using this book.  Since I cook everything I had to learn the diet and it is somewhat paleo and not overly specific.  He started loosing immediately and was not hungry and had no cravings.  What I liked about the plan was it was a balance of nutrient families and it eliminated processed carbs which I know are not a good thing for me.

Usually I don’t follow my husbands diet phases.  But something made me look closer at this one.

I looked at my intake and tweaked it!

65% Fat 20% carbs and 15% protein

I’ll be posting my weigh in on Monday, I’m already giddy about it.

thanks Trish for your comment. I’ll take this chance to say I want folks who are early post op to stick to their Doctors plans and not follow me. I am 12 years post op at the time of this post and can tolerate good fats. When I was early post op I would dump on most fats. I still dump on vegetable fats and that is why this plan is ok for me. Mostly animal fat and some dairy fat.
