The Rules

Are you following the Weight Loss Surgery Rules?  What rules do you follow?

One of the best resources I have found that discusses the rules and other great tips about your new tiny tank is at www.wlsjourney.org.  Their post about Gastric Bypass Pouch – The Rules is one I have read many times to remind myself to stay on track.

The 10 Commandments of Bariatric Eating is another great source of RULES information.  A must read.

7 Rules of Managing your Pouch is another great article to read.

What everyone needs to know before and after weight loss surgery.  This post from a forum is spot on.  Please read it and take what you need.

Hi Carla. You are so right. Reviewing the rules is a good practice. I try to track my food one week a month. I don’t love tracking but do it once a month for a week to stay aware of my rules. Thanks for commenting!!

Thanks Tracy for these links. I think we all need to remind ourselves of the rules and review them now and then. I have been faltering a bit with the holidays coming and this post is just what I needed.

Hi Sylvia. I’m so glad you benefited from them. I refer to them regularly. I have a modified rule set. Tweaked from my early post op days. It helps me maintain my weight. When I go back to the true rules I lose. Thanks for your comment!!
