Daily Tip:

if you are not happy today, what's your plan for change?

Thankful for Choices

Written by my tiny tank on . Posted in Chronicles

Just wanted to touch base before I sign off for the holiday. I’m cooking for a small group tomorrow. It’s something I enjoy doing. I’ll get up early, suit up in my apron to get the bird ready. Once in the oven I will be off to the treadmill. I will run tomorrow.
Our living room/ family room remodel is finished. And tonight…

we enjoyed the kickoff to our holiday season. The movie “Elf.” oh how I have missed my couch. I lied down and enjoyed the movie with my boys. Lots of laughs.
It’s been a hard week for me. I don’t say that much but with the room and the fender bender my nerves are shot.

I have to say I am reminded that we all have choices. I chose to tear up my house before the holiday. It is me and only me that gets me down on that treadmill. And yes it is me who decides how I will spend my favorite holiday.

Own your choices. And remember to do what you want to do. Don’t satisfy someone else on this holiday.

What’s your best holiday look like?

I promise to take pictures of our day. I can tell you we will be kicking off this;

Last year we started doing big Lego kits together. This arrived yesterday and my Lark has been tickled to tear into it. I’m sure tomorrow while the bird is cooking we’ll be sorting pieces and building the Tower Bridge.

I wish you all a lovely day tomorrow. I am thankful for the choices I am able to make. And I am thankful to have connected with all of you.

      Hi Mitzi
      I truly believe we all have choices. Some of us just don’t know it.
      It has taken me 45 years to figure it out. I am choosing to have this holiday on my terms.
      Love to you!
