On My Own Terms

As I head into the holidays I am approaching with zen like prowess.

I’ve spent a lot of effort this year simplifying my life. I have truly learned from experience that the less I have the less stressful things tend to be. This is very hard to execute in our world.

Family, Work, technology, community responsibilities. My whole goal set for 2011 pretty much focused on a Less is More theme. It was about less events, less responsibility, less things. I didn’t realized it was going to seep into the topic of less people.

What I’m trying to say is sometimes less family is better. ahhh I’ve said it…..

I will not succumb to family drama this year.
My holidays, on my terms, thank you very much!.
This will be my mantra for the holiday season.

I added some new recipes to Sassy Girl Kitchen.

HI Miss Sally, one of the blogs I have been reading associated with the less is more concept is Zen Habits. I read a lot of things and then take what I need from them. You may like this blog.
