Note to Self

Written by my tiny tank on . Posted in Exercise, Note to Self, Running

Sometimes too much of a good thing is not a good thing. You’ve been in a good routine. No running two days in a row. I know you’ve been delighted with how your running feels but don’t do it two days in a row.

20130206 212930 Note to Self

You can’t run two consecutive days in a row. Today your ankles hurt. It should be a running day today but you needed to rest. Maybe some yoga tomorrow.

Take it easy on your body.

Don’t burn yourself out.

I need to get motivated to get on that treadmill! I am doing well food wise and making good choices but I just can’t get motivated to walk on that darn machine! I KNOW I need to but….Any advise to get my butt moving?

Hi Audra. My suggestion is to start small. Just get on the treadmill for 10 minutes. You’ll find that once you are on the treadmill you’ll be like “I can do this!” and you are on your way. But you must GET ON the treadmill for this to work. thanks for your comment.

Some days it’s just so hard to slow down, but you’re right listen to your body so you can be stronger on your next run!

Suzanne, very good point. I hadn’t thought of it that way but you are right. If I am kind to my body I will be able to run better the next time. hmmm so basically I am doing the right thing. thanks for your comment.
