My Lips are Chilly
It’s that’s time of year again! The air is changing. It is actually my favorite time of year. But with the chill come chapped lips. Since my weight loss surgery I have been more active all year round. A couple of years ago Santa brought me snow shoes and I was delighted to get out and use them. That same year, my first fall hike of the year, I’m not sure what happened but my lips got destroyed. It was an unrecoverable event. My lips got so chapped during this Saturday hike I was hysterical. They were so unattractive and stinging! I had never had this happen to me. I tried everything. Asked everyone. Tried expensive creams to repair my lips.
Not only were my lips chapped but the skin around them were all chapped and red. Ouch.
After trying a million things and just being very discouraged. I found Carmex. Now I had seen Carmex before and in fact had friends when I was a teen who were addicted to it. Seems funny. I saw it at the check one day and picked it up. I was desperate and I had tried the $50 cream, why not the $2.29 lip balm?!
IT WAS A MIRACLE!!
I WAS SAVED.

I have never forgotten it. And I tell everyone. Even my good college friend found relief with Carmex!!
So each Fall I assess my inventory of Carmex. I just placed my order to get ready for my winter runs, snow shoe adventures and hikes. I just had to share this good thing! It comes in Squeeze Tubes, Lip Balm sticks and lip balm pots. I personally use the Squeeze Tube since I can apply it with out messing up my finger. Although I’ve tried them all. Clicking on each picture below will give you more details on each product!
I’m so excited about my favorite thing CARMEX that I want to give some away!

Hi Katie! thanks for your comment. I’ve heard people say when they list those things NEEDED for the hospital “bring Chapstick”
I don’t think I brought that with me so long ago, BUT I’d never be without it NOW after my experience!

Drink lots of water! I noticed after surgery that my skin and lips got dry a lot, turns out I was dehydrated!
