I’m in hiding.
With my honey.
Resting my eyes
and my brain and my dish pan hands. I am missing the whistler. I’m trying to pace myself with my digital usage. Just some pictures tonight.

First let me apologize for the up coming food porn.

Today was our first day of hiding.

We are staying at a place where there are presentations of foods all day.

The fun thing is they are all bit sized.

It makes me feel like a tiny tank celebrity.

The great thing about weight loss surgery is that I’ve learned to appreciate good food without eating too much of it.

I like to photograph the food.

I eat some of it.

My husband it’s most of it.

And then he tells me how good it is. “Want to try it?” He says knowing very well I won’t.

But I’m happy he’s enjoying it. I get joy from that.

It’s what we do.

I can’t eat much dessert so I like to take pictures.

It’s eye candy for me.

Hi Sue. There were lone strawberries that I got to eat. My hubby gets the sugary desserts. Poor guy.

Hi, so happy to hear you are enjoying your downtime. You inspire me with your will power (i would have a serious tummy-ache if I were there) I love your pictures but the thing that summed up your getaway most (at least to me) is the fact that you get enjoyment in watching your husband enjoy those goodies. Isn’t that the true celebration of valentine’s day?! Loving, appreciating and enjoying our partners.
