Iced Chai Tea Latte

Written by my tiny tank on . Posted in Beverages, Chronicles, My Favorite Things, Product Review

This is my go to drink in the morning during the summer.  The half & half gives it some staying power to hold you over if you can’t eat much in the morning like me.

Ingredients

4 Tazo Chai Teas bags

64oz of boiling water

A splash of half & half when serving

Directions

Boil water.

Hang tea bags in glass carafe. or Mason Jars

Once water is boiling pour into carafe and let tea steep for 5 minutes.  Don’t forget about it if it steeps too long it will become bitter.

Let tea cool and then refrigerate until very cold.  I let it cool overnight.

Once you have cold tea.  Fill glass with ice cubes.  Add tea to top of glass with room for half & half.

Add a splash of half & half and stir

I never knew about these tea bags! I’ve been making my own chai for years with tea and spices. Are you telling me that the spices are already IN the tea bags and I wouldn’t have to strain it myself?! I might just have to check this out!
