Not sure why I hadn’t posted this recipe as it’s own blog post. But I’ve been making these for a few months now. These were my solution for getting my boys to eat the plain yogurt. I had been eating the plain greek yogurt with frozen berries for a while, but couldn’t get them to try it. So I thought “dessert!” and they love dessert. This is what I came up with and it works. So if you want your family to eat yogurts with NO SUGAR try these.
As you may know, every Sunday at the Stevenson house is Bacon Sunday. Yup, I cook up the bacon every Sunday. Not only can I bring it home but I can cook it up too. I just had to say that! The smell of heaven gets them out of bed. We sit together and enjoy a long, slow breakfast together.
So there was nothing all that exciting about this weekend. It was rainy and cold and I spent most of the weekend trying to get warm. Post weight loss surgery it’s hard to get warm once your cold. It almost feels as if your core gets cold and that’s it. The only thing I can do once I’m cold is take a hot shower or tub to get warmed up. Well I found something that helped keep me warm. I got it at the day spa last week. They gave me one during my treatment and I didn’t want to give it back.
Man was it hard to get out of bed this morning! It is so dark now when I wake up. Arghhhh! Lying in bed I thought I am due for writing up what A Day in My Tiny Tank blog post. It is one of my great go to foods and stores in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Have them cooked and ready to go!
Many mornings I share this smoothie with my son. It is VERY kid friendly.
I’m spent this weekend with my college roommates. It’s a regular summer get together. Roommates and their kids gather and have fun.The moms talk and the kids play. Of course when your out of your element the food choices are different and in this case there is celebratory eating. So Tiny Tank beware. I’m thinking lots of planning is in order. For breakfast I had my iced
This protein shake is by far the best way to get fast protein into your body. I wanted to write about my favorite smoothie, it is the best one I have created so far. If you’ve ever had the Starbucks Chocolate Vivanno Smoothie, it rivals THAT! And I’m not kidding. I have tried many protein powders along the way. If you are looking to make smoothies for weight loss I think
